Simply upload your favorite photos of your pet, and our team will guide you in choosing the ones that will translate best into your Petagz™ piece. If you are not sure how to take the perfect photo for your Petagz, here are some suggestions to help you capture new images that highlight your pet’s personality, expression, and spirit.

Required Assets

You’ll need to upload an image to the product page. Our production team may need to make visual adjustments to the image that works best for your Petagz. The adjustments can include cropping and contrast optimization to make the image as good as possible. Your image will appear in a single color on the metal surface.

Photo Directions

Step 1

When taking a picture of your pet with your phone, be sure your pet fills most of the viewfinder. You’ll retain better resolution by physically moving closer to your pet when taking the picture instead of using the zoom functions. You can use the photo or portrait mode setting when taking your picture.

Step 2

Avoid shooting through glass, strong shadows or highlights in your photo, especially over your pet’s face. All of these examples result in loss of detail and clarity for etching.

Step 3

Decide whether you want Horizontal (landscape)or Vertical (portrait) orientation you would prefer for your final Petagz. The orientation of your picture will determine the orientation of your Petagz.

Step 4

To make sure your pet is in-focus aim your camera on single focus point on the subject’s eyes. Tap the screen on your pet’s face to focus your camera. Then tap the shutter realize button at the bottom of the screen.
